Wilkens c.s. Medical Translations tests package leaflets for readability
Wilkens c.s. Medical Translations, specialist in medical translations, has now added readability testing to its services package. For years we have led the field in all translations required during the marketing authorisation procedure for medicines. Read more We have recently introduced a new service: readability testing. This means that we test package leaflets for technical readability and check that the information is easy to find, understand and apply. The tests are carried out by specially selected panels, and the results are presented to you in a final report in English. The inclusion of readability tests in our service package means that Wilkens c.s. Medical Translations is now a full-service translation agency that can assist you throughout the entire marketing authorisation procedure.
 

New service: Medical writing
Medical writing is one of the new services provided by Wilkens c.s. Medical Translations. We can rewrite your ICFs and package leaflets so that they are easy to read. Read more This is often necessary, since the Central Committee on Research involving Human Subjects (CCMO) emphasises the importance of ensuring that all information for patients is clear and easy to understand. We also update SPCs for our clients on the basis of new product information and modify existing package leaflets to comply with the current QRD templates. We offer this service not only in Dutch and English but also in all languages of the European Union.

The 2nd Annual Patient Recruitment and Retention Summit was held in Amsterdam on 17 and 18 February 2010. During this conference, experts from thirteen pharmaceutical companies gave presentations, participants attended panel discussions, and professional colleagues had the opportunity to exchange experiences. As a translation agency, we are closely involved in recruiting and informing patients who take part in clinical investigations and we were one of the sponsors of the conference.
